CodeShare

We noticed that popular code-sharing websites like “pastebin” and “hastebin” didn’t offer a straightforward way to create and share code snippets directly from integrated development environments (IDEs). That’s why my colleague Robin Heidrich and I decided to create our own code-sharing website with built-in support for IDEs.

Our goal was simple: we wanted to make it easy for developers to share their code without having to switch between their IDE and external websites. We understood the frustration and time wasted in that process. So, we set out to build a platform that would simplify code sharing and streamline the workflow for developers.

We created a simple website that caters to their requirements. The heart of our platform is the seamless integration with VS-Code, which allows developers to share code snippets directly from their favorite editor. No more hassle of switching applications—just a few clicks, and you can generate a shareable link right from your IDE.
